What are Actions and Punch Lists?
Actions organize your Project into the major necessary steps. These are called Parent Actions and can be assigned to a group of workers.
When your Action is almost done, Punchlists are there to easily inform your crew of the quick-hit items and finishing touches that are needed to finalize their Action’s completion.
Punchlists can be viewed and completed by anyone assigned to the Parent Action.
To create an Action in the app, use the “Add Action” button.
- Enter the Action name.
- Select start and end dates.
- Use the “Assign to” button to assign the crew.
Once you enter the main information for an Action, you will be taken to the Action Details page.
The Action Details section allows you to view all Action information, updates, Action History, and access to photos from the Action gallery and chat.
You can also use the Action Details section to update and add information to your Action like changing the Action Status or adding a punchlist to let your team know what items need to be finished in order to complete the Action.
To assign existing Actions, view the Action Details. Tap on the blue “+” button below the Action description. This will pull up your contact list. Select the workers you want to assign. Save your changes by tapping the “Assign” button.
The newly assigned workers’ profile pictures will appear below the Action description with the rest of the assigned crew.
Once a worker is assigned to an Action, it will appear on their My Actions view on the app. The My Actions view gives them a list of their daily assigned Actions and allows them to give real time updates on their work.
To create a Punchlist, view your Action Details and scroll down to the Punchlist section. Tap on the “Add Items” button and type in each quick hit item that needs to be completed.
The crew assigned to that Action will see the punchlist on their My Actions tab and can update the list as they complete items one by one.
